Burner and Radiant Maintenance Tips

Clogged burner nozzles and carbon build-up on ceramic surfaces seriously reduce heating performance.

Burner maintenance

The gas valve must be closed before removing the burner. Nozzles are cleaned with special brushes; abrasive chemicals must not be used.

Ceramic surface maintenance

Cracked or deformed ceramic tiles should be replaced. Reflectors are wiped with a soft cloth to prevent radiation loss.
